GOING DOWN THE BAYOU

Princess and the Frog is an incredible film, and we’re so excited to see the re-theme at Magic Kingdom FINALLY open! The retheme includes the song “Going Down the Bayou”, with the Bayou taking center stage in our new adventures with Tiana.

The top of our design features the iconic “Tiana’s Foods” water tower. Since this ride is also a water ride, the design features water splashes and wood-like elements.  

With so many new animal friends, we included some of our favorites, including our beloved Louis, our alligator friend playing the Trumpet! We have a frog playing the drums, a fox and baby bear banging on the bongos, while the adorable rabbit is playing a Louisiana License Plate as a frottoir. We added dancing musical notes, as the music brings the ambiance to the ride, and evokes the appearance of the Southern Style Jazz poster look of the time period.

Emphasizing “the Bayou” to show the lush overgrown greenery, and using blue tones to create the water, we included flourishes to show the spirit of they bayou as you trash down. Our “words only” print uses the classic color tones to create a design perfect for Disneybounding!

The fantastic theming of the ride will transform you to the lively music played by new characters and friends, as well as help us reach our final celebration with Tiana. Whether enhancing your trip down the bayou, coordinating a theme park outfit, or for the Tiana-lover in your life, we are so excited to share this design with you all for your next Bayou adventure!
