Halloween season is upon us, and whether you’re heading to Oogie’s Bash or one of Mickey’s parties, or really any time, the Haunted Mansion should be in your list of “Must-Dos”.
Taking inspiration from the spirit board’s traditional design, this tee is full of nods to everyone’s favorite place to encounter delightful spooks. With an ode to Master Gracey - the host of our favorite frightful attraction, then our favorite Madame Leota, with her head floating in a crystal ball ready to assist in calling the spirits, followed by the hand of the clock passing the 13th hour.
Our murderous bride Constance Hatchaway’s hands make an appearance, with a “welcome foolish mortals” in the center of the design, accompanied by the iconic “Hurry Back”. The planchette used on spirit boards is accented by the iconic wallpaper symbols.
The bottom has a set of numbers - 13 because when the wait time says “13” it means there is no wait for the ride. “999” because that is the number of happy haunts in the ride, and 1955 for when the attraction first opened in Disneyland.
And lastly, in all four corners is the iconic paintings we love - appearing in their corruptible, mortal state.
