“Amidst the Glitz and Glamour of a bustling young movie town…” Filling Sunset Boulevard with screams all day and into the night… The Tower of Terror is truly an attraction deserving of it’s fanbase. Hollywood Studios is actually home to the first and original Tower of Terror, which opened in the parks in 1994. A decade later and it expanded to Disneyland, Tokyo Disneyland, and Disneyland Paris. Now in it’s 30^th year of exciting and terrifying guests, we’re celebrating this ride with a vintage inspired design.

"You unlock this door with the key of imagination.  Beyond it is another dimension..." Taking inspiration from vintage Horror Movie posters, evoking the vintage feel of the attraction. “Terror Has Reached New Heights” – giving an immediate impact. It’s a stormy night – as you can see in the lightning at the top. In the center is the star of the show, the iconic Hollywood Tower Hotel. Mimicking the nighttime appearance, the “o” in Hollywood is giving a hint that this is not your average hotel. In the forefront is our pal Goofy as a bellhop, bewitched under the hotel’s spell – with a smile, beckoning you inside.

At the bottom we see the palm trees lining up Sunset Boulevard leading to your adventure. Other elements, known to all Twilight Zone and Tower of Terror fans alike – the clock, E=MC2, the eyes in the tv, and of course the elevator service dial. You can really feel the dimension of sound and sight, like you’ve just crossed over into….. the Twilight Zone!
